I am writing today to share an exciting opportunity with you!

 

The Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts (PPTOPA), a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, has been providing live theatre to the community for the past twenty  years.   Our Board of Directors, Cast and Crew are all volunteers, who dedicate countless hours of their time. 

 

PPTOPA produces three shows per season, and entertains approximately 4,000 people per production.  Next up is “ Mary Poppins ,"Carousel,"Young Frankenstein,and Miss Saigon

 

One of the elements that set PPTOPA apart from other local theatres is our offering of “specials.”  VIP Sponsor night combines a wonderful live theatre performance with a lavish dessert reception.  Our Wine and Wind Down event provides attendees with a buffet dinner, wine served in a collectible wine glass and a great show for an all-inclusive price.  Family Night, Senior Day and student discounts are also offered during the run of each production. 

 

Ticket sales only cover a fraction of what’s needed to deliver high quality entertainment.   Increasing costs to obtain copyrights, rent space, build sets, rent costumes, purchase props and hire live musicians has caused our budget for these wonderful productions to skyrocket.  Financial support from individuals and corporate sponsors, with a genuine interest in the Arts, can make a difference!
