is holding auditions for its upcoming production

 

 Directed by Jerry Jensen

 Part three of Neil Simon’s acclaimed autobiographical trilogy. In Brighton Beach, New York, Eugene and his older brother Stanley try to break into the world of show business as professional comedy writers.

AUDITIONS

Saturday, January 17, from 11am-2pm (arrive by 1:30pm) and Monday, January 19, from 7-9:30pm (arrive by 9pm)

 Eugene Jerome – Age 20’s

The narrator. Witty and quick with a joke. Wants to be a comedy writer. Cares deeply for his family and understands their hardships and heartbreaks.

Kate Jerome – Age 50’s

Eugene and Stanley’s mother. Strong and hard-working. Puts up a happy front to keep her family intact.

Stanley Jerome – Age 20’s

Eugene’s older brother. Driven and high-strung. Wants to be a comedy writer with his brother. Devoted to his family.

Ben Epstein – Age 70’s

Kate’s father. A stubborn Socialist who doesn’t get his grandsons’ comedy.

 Jack Jerome – Age 50’s

Eugene and Stanley’s father. Has become tired of the monotony of life and his marriage to Kate.

 Blanche Morton – Age 50’s

Kate’s sister. Newly re-married and wealthy. Clashes with her father who doesn’t understand her way of life.

 REHEARSALS - February 16-March 14 Specific days/times

TECH - March 15-19    

PERFORMANCES - Two weekends March 20-29

 Non-Equity Actors will receive a small stipend
